Image Submission Guidelines

   PHOTOSPORT invites you to send your sports and sports-related photographs to be considered for use with news coverage or in an upcoming photo gallery. Amateur photographers are encouraged to submit.

   Professional photographers should check here for information on portfolio submission and review.

   We are looking for the following types of photos:

•    Game action of any sport at any level (rec, youth, prep, college, pro). Get close. No shooting from the stands unless for artistic effect.
•    Athlete candids
•    Sports-related background imagery (stadiums, equipment closeups etc.)
•    Vintage shots from antique to the 1980s.
•    Or ... Surprise us with something sports related we haven't thought of.

   Format: Digital images in either JPG or TIFF format. Size: 1000 pixels wide minimum. File size should be as large as possible. Slides or prints can be mailed to us at the address below.

   Include a caption: Your full name, location where photo was taken and any interesting details regarding your photo or how you took it.

   Important notes: We may edit captions for clarity and brevity. We reserve the right to not use submissions. In submitting your image or images to PHOTOSPORT, you agree to allow us to publish them in all media, in print or on the web. You will receive credit, of course. Most important, you'll have the satisfaction of sharing your photos worldwide.
