Duners hoping to get away from civilization by spending their Spring Break in the dunes only found more of it there than they left behind in the city. Having more or less installed a full-blown municipal infrastructure, the BLM continues to formalize a Glamis government which aggressively enforces traffic rules on the large weekends. This is funded in large part by the $30 per week parking fee (tripled since last year) charged against each vehicle entering the dunes.
The Competition Hill closure continues to be enforced. Some racing is now found on Oldsmobile Hill after 10:00 at night.
