New Rules Ignored

Duners purchasing their $30 season passes are also given a colorful stack of Glamis brochures at the Ranger Station. One of the brochures lists the new rules: forbidden acts added by the BLM as "Supplemental Rules" (43 USC 1733).

As of Thanksgiving, you may no longer:

• Engage in public nudity;
• and/or be at Unauthorized Organized Activities;
  • including Staging, Carrying Out, Participating In, or Sponsoring such an event
  • BLM may confiscate vehicles and/or equipment used in such events
• and/or Ride or Drive Passengers Around in a pickup truck bed or back of a flatbed truck

Given that there were topless women riding in the backs of pickup trucks at the Flatland Drags, it would seem that the word has not quite gotten around.
