The Australian team showed up in sleek spandex uniforms that led one fan to remark, "They look like superheroes."

For most of the game the Aussies played like superheroes, leading the heavily-favored American team by as much as eight points, but Team USA tied with a minute left and then dropped a three-pointer to take the gold medal.

Australia left with silver, while Brazil took home the bronze.
